  • Roof Leak Repair
    Roof leaking?!
Our 24/7 phone lines allows access to an immediate response.
All of our repair specifications come with an Allied Roofing workmanship warranty.
Let us assess and diagnose whether a repair or re-roof is the proper plan of action.

Roof repairs are typically less expensive than re-roofing, so because of this we will never prematurely re-roof if it can be repaired first.

Deciding factors when it comes to repair or re-roof are as follows:

    • Amount of Current Leaks
    • History of Leaks
    • Size and Scope of Repair
    • Condition and Age of the Roofing System

Our skilled repair department will first locate your roof leak and fix it as quickly as possible to protect your home. We have the knowledge and skills to perform repairs on most roofing systems. Being in business for over 20 years has allowed us to prove ourselves, and be relied upon by many manufacturers to perform warranty repairs to meet their strict criteria.

Water entering your home can cause serious – and expensive – damage to walls, ceilings, framing, floors and foundations. Ongoing water intrusion leaves you susceptible to mold and mildew growth.

Any damages associated to past roof leaks can impact future value of the property.

You are at risk for critical damage to your roof system as well as exposure to mold.

In many cases the source of the leak is hidden. Identifying the source of a leak and restoring the structural integrity of the roof is critical in minimizing water damage.

Most of the time the failure or leak comes from the details. These are:

    •   Flashings
    •   Valleys
    •   Vents
    •   Skylights
    •   Chimneys
    •   Crickets

Signs of possible damage to your roof include, but are not limited to:

    •   Missing Shingles
    •   Cracked or Curled Shingles
    •   Granules in Gutters or on the Ground
    •   Shingle Buckling
    •   Missing or Sliding Tiles
    •   Rust Spots on Metal
    •   Spotting on Ceilings
    •   Dark areas on Fascia & Soffit
    •   Exposed Wood

Our roofing specialists will find your leaks and stop them in their tracks. As the finishing touch on your quality repair job, we will ensure that the replacement roofing materials match your existing roof, leaving your repair undetectable.

  • Roofing Maintenance Services
    Preventive Maintenance Inspection Program (PMI)
Annual inspection of the roof by a qualified professional is essential to its healthy functioning. The inspection may detect early signs of deterioration, which may be swiftly corrected prior to always-dangerous hurricane season. The existing records of roof inspections prevent possible complications to a building owner during the insurance claims process after the storm.

The key to a long-term performance of a roofing structure is knowledge of its functioning, periodic inspections and routine preventive maintenance. A professional roofing contractor provides this service.

Clients who participate in the PMI are guaranteed the following:

    • A detailed report of current roof conditions
    • A scaled drawing of the entire roof structure
    • Digital pictures of existing conditions of the roof
    • Completion of all repairs and replacements according to the highest standards of the roofing industry
    • Follow up inspections to ensure proper roof performance
    • Annual inspections conducted upon your authorization
    • Professional insight of our staff when considering leaks unrelated to roofing problems
    • 24 hour emergency service

Roof maintenance is vital to its longevity and proper performance. A number of problems may develop over the constant weathering process:

    • Deterioration of caulking on a flashing
    • Dislocation of seams
    • Exposure of a membrane of the roof due to the scattering of gravel
    • Accelerated deterioration of a roof membrane in areas of increased humidity, ex: ponds
    • Immediate damages due to the natural causes
    • Tears and punctures caused by unrelated construction activity or vandalism

Your participation in the PMI program will yield multiple benefits to the commercial property owner or manager. Most importantly, the program guarantees to extend the lifetime of the roof by 30% while controlling maintenance costs and preventing serious roof problems.

    Solar Power Roof Systems

These are solar power systems in which solar modules (solar panels) are integrated into, or mounted on top of the structure, of a roof.

    Solar Roof Panel

There are now several types of roofing and facade materials that have photovoltaic built right in. This means that your roof can keep the rain out when it's rainy, and generate electricity when the sun shines. Consider solar electric roofing when you are planning to install a new roof or build a new house. We have developed a variety of preferred roofing techniques that are suitable for a variety of different roof materials.

A Premier integrated solar roof system, can solar power your whole house. A Solar roof panel is not just on the roof, it is a part of the roof. The secret behind the sleek, streamlined design are interlocking solar panels fit to the exact shape of your roof. This exclusive interlocking technique blends with the style and architecture of your home. The new panels enable roofs of residential or commercial buildings to become sources of electricity as well as protection from the elements.

    •     The solar panel is a deep blue color that blends well with the brown and gray panels of the roof
    •     The solar panels are light; they weigh about 2.5 lbs per sq ft
    •     They are seamlessly constructed
    •     These solar panels are very low maintenance and very durable

  • Rain Water Harvesting
Rainwater harvesting is a technology used to collect, convey, and store rain from relatively clean surfaces such as a roof, land surface, or rock catchment for later use.
Harvested rainwater is rainwater that is captured from the roofs of buildings on residential property. Harvested rainwater can be used for indoor needs at a residence, irrigation, or both, in whole or in part.

South Florida gets more than 60 inches of rain a year, yet most of it is wasted! Now you can harvest it for your home or business.
Traditionally, rainwater harvesting has been practiced in arid and semiarid areas. It has become an integral part of societies in remote places where piping water and reliance on wells is not an option.

Consider Harvesting Rainwater for Many Uses:

    • Irrigation
    • Wash Vehicles
    • Fill Ponds, Fountains, and Swimming Pools
    • Flush Toilets
    • Wash Laundry
    • Shower and Bath

    Advantages of Rain Water Harvesting:

    • Harvesting rainwater reduces your water bills and allows you to use the stored water at your discretion—it is not public water, so you do not have to follow water restrictions.
    • Harvesting rainwater reduce your impact on groundwater sources, minimize your vulnerability to drought, and create a sustainable landscape.
    • Rainwater harvesting presents an opportunity for augmentation of water supplies allowing for self-reliance and sustainability. Sustaining the environment contributes to the overall conservation of our precious natural resources.
    • A rainwater system along with other sustainable systems can increase the value of a building.
    • Rainwater harvesting is good for irrigation and plants thrive because stored rainwater is free from pollutants as well as salts, minerals, and other natural, and man made contaminants.
    • Rainwater harvesting is good for laundry use as rainwater is soft and lowers the need for detergents.
    • You receive credits under the Water Use Reduction category of the LEED Green Building Rating System™.

    How Does it Work?

Rain water passes from a roof, through a gutter system, into large cisterns (water tanks), then water is withdrawn from the source (i.e. cistern) by a pump that delivers the water to sprinkler heads for irrigation of landscaping. Since a properly designed system does not rely on any groundwater resources, most installations can be exempt from certain watering restrictions.
In our area, where heavy rainfall is followed by periods of water restrictions, reusing rainwater makes sense.

    Basic Components:

Regardless of the complexity of the system, the domestic rainwater harvesting system comprises six basic components:

    •     Catchment surface: the collection surface from which rainfall runs off
    •     Gutters and downspouts: channel water from the roof to the tank
    •     Leaf screens, first-flush diverters, and roof washers: components which remove debris and dust     from the captured rainwater before it goes to the tank
    •     One or more storage tanks, also called cisterns
    •     Delivery system: gravity-fed or pumped to the end use
    •     Treatment/purification: for potable systems, filters and other methods to make the water safe to     drink

  • Waterproofing
Waterproofing your roof for Florida weather conditions will help to guard against damage from heavy rain and wind—making sure that your home and business will stay up and running even after the most damaging storm.
Protecting your house from water intrusions, the effects of heat, UV rays, and even corrosion will extend the life of your building and maximize your investment.

Waterproofing is the foundation of the roofing services we provide to commercial and residential customers. We believe that the most effective way to make a roof and the building under it watertight – is with roof coatings.

We’ll take the time to work with you, to show you waterproofing options, and what works best in the Florida climate.

Our team of waterproofing professionals are experienced, highly skilled, and safety trained. They utilize the highest quality caulking and waterproofing materials and the latest equipment and application techniques.

Done right, your roof coating system will deliver at least 10 years of watertight performance. Our teams understand how the coatings are formulated to work using manufacturer specifications for application.

    Steps of Waterproofing:

    • The surface of your existing roof is restored
    • If a roof has leaks, they are sealed
    • Flashing damages are repaired, new flashings are installed
    • Every inch of seam gets a sealant, reinforced with a polyester fabric strengthener
    • The surface is thoroughly pressure washed to ensure that nothing interrupts the adherence of the commercial waterproofing membrane to the roof

Our coating systems are ideal for most commercial and residential roofing materials:

    •     Metal
    •     Modified Bitumen
    •     PVC Roofing
    •     TPO Roofs
    •     EPDM Rubber
    •     Asphalt Sheeting
    •     Flat Roofs
    •     Low Slope

Advantages of covering a roof with an acrylic and/or polyurethane polymer:

    • Coatings are applied in fluid form, which makes perfect sense because it spreads and dries into seamless protection.

    • The membrane is impenetrable by UV rays, which eliminates rapid deterioration, which is yet another source of water intrusion.

    • Products are elastomeric, so they gently expand and contract in temperature changes.

    • Watertight coatings are white, so they reflect rather than attract the heat of the sun.
  • Roof Cleaning services
Roof cleaning can be done safely and effectively, but it comes with certain pitfalls that every professional roofer should be aware of in order to avoid damage to the property, unnecessary repair costs, and the premature replacement of the roof.

Our professional approach and emphasis on safety has earned us repeat business from homeowners and residential communities throughout the area.
We understand how roofs age in this tropical climate, and our cleaning crews are specially trained to walk on the roofs with care. Our uniformed and courteous technicians look forward to serving you.

    What causes dark roof stains?

It's algae that makes your beautiful roof look black and dirty. Algae thrives in moist, humid environments like we have in south Florida.Scientists have identified the most common form of roof algae as Gloeocapsa Magma. Algae grows rapidly and can turn your roof black in a short time.Once present in an area, the algae can quickly spread by airborne spores being carried from rooftop to rooftop by wind, birds and other small animals. All roof types are susceptible to algae infestation.

Why having a dirty roof is dangerous?

    • Dark coloration causes your roof tiles to become less reflective, absorb and retain heat, and ultimately raise your utility bill

    • It’s a breeding ground for allergens a constant health threat for anyone with allergies

    • Without proper maintenance, your roof could attract animals (raccoons, squirrels and roof rats)

Cleaning your roof safeguards your health, saves you money on utilities, and maintains the curb appeal of your home.

    Non Pressure Washing

For most roofing systems pressure washing is not recommended because it may remove granules from shingled roofs and cause color-fading on tile roofs or cause damaging leaks. Our non-pressure cleaning procedure removes algae, mildew and black mold from the roof while insuring no damage will be caused to the roof surface.

We apply a chemical solution using a low-pressure sprayer. Our cleaning product eradicates all mildew, fungus and algae, including harmful microscopic spores.

We offer chemical roof cleaning of asphalt and fiberglass shingles as well as flat, barrel, slate and cement tile roofing materials. Our roof cleaning solutions are approved by the Asphalt Roofing Manufactures Association (ARMA)

    Pressure Washing

We also offer a wide array of pressure cleaning services for surfaces that can be pressure washed such as: concrete, brick, wood, Vinyl/PVC, Stucco/Dryvit, Aluminum, Gutters, Soffit, Fascia
With hot and cold water pressure washers and all the best equipment at our disposal, we can provide you with the best results possible for your exterior cleaning needs.

Utilizing both pressure and non pressure washing methods
we are able to provide the safest and most effective cleaning in the industry.

How long can I expect my roof to stay clean?

Roof surfaces can stay clean for up to three years or longer. There are many determining factors and variables. Trees for instance, will create shaded and damp areas, creating an ideal environment for algae and mildew to develop and thrive in.
  • Sky Lights
Skylights are a great way to add natural light to your home or business, and do so in a very modern and stylish manner. We carry only reliable name-brand skylights from trusted manufacturers. We'll be glad to help you determine the right skylights based on your home's needs, and offer a complete installation package for an extremely reasonable cost.

Rest assured you are in good hands with our experienced, knowledgeable and highly skilled team of professionals! We work hard to maintain a reputation for excellence in customer service, reliability and professionalism. We know how to install skylights above and beyond the manufactures written instructions and to hold up in the harsh weather we are subjected to in the Tropical Florida environment.

Things to consider when choosing skylights:

    • The three major skylight types are fixed, ventilating, and tubular.

Fixed skylights do not open. They are good choice if your goal is to provide a room—such as an attic or stairwell—with extra light.

Ventilating skylights can be opened to provide a room with fresh air in addition to natural light. Because they improve air flow and reduce moisture, they are often installed in kitchens and bathrooms.

Tubular Skylights allow natural sunlight to be directed from the rooftop down through a highly reflective tube, and then diffused at the ceiling level. Tubular skylights capture direct and ambient light, providing exceptional illumination, even on cloudy days and in early morning or late afternoon when the sun is low in the sky.

    • The skylight size should never be more than 5% of the floor area in rooms with many windows and no more than 15% of the room's total floor area for spaces with few windows.

    • Skylight glazing options are plastic and glass. Plastic is cheaper but not as durable and allows more UV light to enter. Glass, although more expensive, is a superior product.

    • Be sure to take into consideration the sun’s path. Skylights on the south- or west-facing portion of the roof will collect direct sun—skylights facing north or east may not get any direct sunlight.

Sun-Dome Tubular Skylights brighten interiors with free, renewable energy from natural sunlight without the heat gain of ordinary skylights. They cut power consumption and reduce A/C heat load and run time by several hundred kilowatts per month!

Sun-Dome Tubular Skylights are a energy efficient choice for commercial and residential lighting. Help save our natural resources by reducing energy consumption.
